About Us

We are a small team with big ambitions and zero tolerance for busywork

We started 5day.io because we were tired of work tools that made simple things complicated for marketers. So we built one that doesn’t have you duct-tape ten things to run your marketing function.

We work hard, and we show up

From trade shows to meetups, we get out from behind the screen to meet the marketers we build for, and hear what’s actually breaking in their workflows. We build in public and show up in person.

And we know how to celebrate it

The same energy we bring to the product, we bring to hanging out. Big launches deserve big celebrations and good work is easier when you actually like the people you do it with.

Our Values

The core values that drive every single team member and every single decision taken within our team and product

Empathy

We build for people whose problems we've felt ourselves. Before we ship anything, we ask whether it solves something real. If we wouldn't want it, neither will our patrons.

Velocity

We move fast because the work demands it, but speed is worthless if the details fall apart. So we ship fast and adapt even faster with every feature we deliver. Fast and right is the goal, not fast or right.

Velocity

Happiness

We take the work seriously and ourselves a lot less so. The work matters; the egos don't. There's always room for a laugh between launches, because we build better when we like being together.

Freedom

We trust each other to own the how. There's no micromanaging or permission slips. Everyone here gets the room to make their own calls and the responsibility that comes with it.

Honesty

We say the real thing, even when it's uncomfortable. There are no buried trade-offs that the user or our team discovers later. We'd rather have the hard conversation now than a worse one later.
